FIKE – International Short Film Festival of Évora, was created in 2001 and takes place annually in the city of Évora, European Capital of Culture 2027, forming an integral part of the great cultural program of the city, always committed to the dissemination and promotion of cinema and with the formation of audiences.

With the 18th edition of FIKE, the film festival returns to Évora, from December 4th to 10th, 2023, with more films in competition, in the fiction, animation and documentary categories. Parallel shows, masterclasses, workshops,  exhibitions, concerts and debates will also complete the vast program for 2023.

If life is short, then let's make it, once again, a movie festival in Évora.
